Ok, that was A-FREAKIN-MAZING!!!! Not quite as cray-cray as yesterday. Arrived just before Noon to glassy conditions and Spike (Larry) heading out on his E-Foil. I ventured outside the ManVan to say Hi but light rain and cool temps brought me back to the warm ManVan. Warmed up for 10 mins and then the wind started to pick up so I rigged up the 4.5m Sailworks Flyer as forecast said it was coming. I headed out while Spike was still out there so got a couple of WooHoo's and foiling with an eFoiler which I think might be a first for me in RB. It picked up quickly, 20kts after 15 mins then seeing Docker and IDFix on Goat Hill so came in close and yelled 20kts to them. 2 more runs in and it was 25kts so yelled that too them so they knew it was picking up. MarkyMark (Dr.Mark) came out on his 5.0m. I came in to warm up my hands after 20kms with some more Doods filling up Goat Hill including Newbie Ryan on his inflatable board doing great! Wind was up and down a bit but stayed mostly in the 20-25kts range. I came in again to warm hands as it was pretty cold compared to yesterday and was able to say Hi to BWDave and Dood in his black truck (maybe GuidedbyVoices?) An actual Windsurfer (yes, they still exist), sorry I forgot your name Dood! ULR and GregCan made appearance and the latter possibly made an actual tack but since H-Rock wasn't there it didn't get filmed so I'm guessing didn't actually happen. I finished up my 50kms and decided to call it a day as I had to go and visit my Mom. It was pretty wavy today, lots of pretty great 3-4' swells coming through which I'm getting better at riding but still need more practice. Pretty great day, lots of wind and waves and fun WooHoo'ing. RB is really delivering this December, 12 sessions for me so far and 4 sessions this week.
