go to roosevelt, have friend clip sandals, gorge is gnarly for beginners...but free showers and camping at the site...sandbar way to crazy for beginners in my opinion...but the launch is tricky too...gorge is gnarly...bring a crappy board for him..the river eats boards-fast..the coast is almost easi...

dougie there is no "beach" at nitnat so there are no kids or for that matter anyone swimming or frolicking...too cold and salty...there is a launching area along the water...it is 10 bucks per car/family a day...nitnat is done sept 10 the road is fine...see ya there
