Island View is a safer bet than Willows -- watch out for the power lines and slippery logs.

You will need help launching and possibly getting to the waters edge if the wind is strong as the launch area will be slippery if there has been rain.

The short mako might be a good board for you. The 150 is great for powered up kiting, but might be on the long side. if you can find one to demo, it would be worth it. hi A different type of drysuit is the Pyro surf from Ocean Rodeo. It has a Lycra covering that keeps it snug, unlike a typical drysiut. Because of the outer layer, it is unlikely to get cut by a fin. I'm more worried about the precipitation/cloud killinng off Sunday and Monday. I think Saturday should be fine & possibly even good.
