If you read his blog he just paid $3200 for this thing a few months ago, sometimes you have to wonder.

I wonder if there is any interest in the BWD community to charter my boat for a weekend this summer. I've been on it most every weekend in the last month and a half, but might as well get used on the weekends when I am not.

hey speaking of sailboats, you might be interested in the ongoing adventure of Naomi (gnome) and John from Campbell River..currently they are becalmed en route to the Galapagos.

That actually looks like a pretty sweet camping boat. No backstay or forestay though, and a helluva lot of sail power, how do they engineer that to last?

Well yeah, but how do you keep it steady and undercontrol especially given it is removable? Normally on a rig that size there plenty of compression from the stays and spreaders keeping things put, carbon mast or not.
