Jordan River Erosion, Trees @Point
Here's a pic of Sewers at super low tide with a little swell running.........in July.
In all the years I lived there this was the only time I saw a rideable wave at JR in July.
Way shallow so I boogied it.
And I hope that's a joke about losing a kidney.
Sheesh. I would have gladly given him mine this past week.
Take care.

Well, it all started off innocently enough...

Man that's rough for RocDoc and my deepest condolences for sure.
I wasn't sure if it was a joke or somehow in reference to my stones or what.
Now that I'm mostly over my little episode it doesn't seem mine was all that bad..........................................compared.
Certainly wish all the best for a speedy recovery man.
Take care.

Got three more pics ready so here goes.
That little cabin across the river is where I first lived when I moved there on May 1st, 1975. On May 3rd. I turned 30.
Later that year my two sisters showed up in an old bus with a couple of friends and Santana, the blonde dog. That's me in the middle of my sisters. The two other dogs were Pine and Cedros and belonged to JVD although I inherited Pine after JVD went south and Cedros had been shot for trying to screw the Personnel Manager's female dog.
Here's me, Pine, Cedros and old Fred Ita's cat on my lap at the Cedar Shack in 1975. We sold pop, candy bars, arts and crafts and on the weekends cooked crab. We also salvaged railway ties from the old railway up the hill, cut and sold firewood in Victoria, I planted trees on an all First Nations crew (except me) just a half mile past JR, where the subdivision is. All planted in 1975. We basically worked all summer so we could surf later on.

And all the best for a speedy recovery from here too.
Check the black spots from my neophrene covered bony buttocks on the deck of my three boards circa 1985. I tended to stand forward when riding and you can see where that marked the boards also.
Every picture tells a story.
L-R 8'2" Herbie Fletcher, 7'7" Sunset, 7'10" Cleanline.
Many rides on each of them.

Roc doc
Heal well Rick, and for hump, you need some Chanka Piedra (stone crusher) for those stones, about 25 bucks and it works. Cheers.
Surfing outside of Platos cave, searching for Blue Skies.
