That is a great ad for winter sailing JdS. Loved the mix of WS and kite. Jl, that is just painful watching. What crap those sails were! Yet there were so many participating....? I think that is the year I started.

I think this is the most impressive kite wave riding I've seen.

I wonder how much pressure the barreling wave puts on the lines overhead, and if that screws up the kite's steering?

And if you crashed the kite in the middle of a set, I'm pretty sure things would immediately go to bad (probably destroy kite) and then maybe to worse (good chance of injury to yourself or others).

I suspect this level of kitesurfing will be left to those with both freakish talent and an unlimited source of free gear.[/url]
