Kiting with Killer Whales

Post by Nimpkish-Bill »

Was just out here in Nelson, NZ. A pod of Killer Whales swam by and a small one started off towards me. The local guy says you can pet them. Any advice on that?

Resident or transient? (Fish eater or mammal eater?)

I got chased in by a pod two summers ago at Gordons, way outside in sketchy wind. Once I realized they were following me, bee lined it to the beach...too close to the food chain for me!

they spent hundreds of thousands on Luna and passed laws so nobody pets a killer whale so they don't became habituated to humans....and end up dying or hurting someone or damaging things....ur kidding right :?:
