Arrived at 9:30am ish and watched the 8-10kts for awhile then it picked up a little to 8-12 and MtnarG showed up. We both rigged big, him 8m and me 6m. Just as we were about to launch, the (day after) B-Day Dood showed up and brought some more wind, it was now 10-14kts....SWEET!! headed out and as I was trying out my new foil I was trying to feel it and feel how it planed up and how it felt. Apparently it didn't plane up as well as I hoped in light winds as wind seemed 10-12kts as it had dropped a bit. It definitely doesn't glide as well being lower aspect and didn't really get a chance to see a top speed as it was pretty wavy and lighter winds. It's a powered up foil not meant for light winds. Good to know, now! It supposed to be a Windfoil specific foil, so we'll see next time there is enough wind. MtnarG and Alex pulled the plug just before me and H-Rock stayed out playing a bit longer with his light wind set up.
