New to Comox

Hey All,

New to the Comox Valley and wondering about kite spots. I'm familiar with Goose Spit, but I'm wondering about spots to go when it isn't a SE/E wind direction.

Thanks in advance!

** NEED 9mm Inflate Valve for Prodigy!!**

Hey!

Does anyone have a spare 9mm inflate valve they'd be willing to sell. My 12m is out of service and I'd really love to be out on the water!!

Let me know and thanks in advance!!

Lost board at Ross Bay

Hey, Went out for a kite at Clover Point today, was riding in Ross bay and my friend had some technical issues, long story short, lost her board. It's a light blue Liquid Force Diva 141cm with pink and yellow graphics, also has a homemade Go-Joe that is neon yellow and pink. Hopefully it finds shore ...

I live up the hill overlooking the small houses along westcoast road right before Gordon's beach, I'll definitely have to start riding out there. Consistently good from what I see!

How about Sidney Spit when the wind fills in steady west? Nice sandy shore, good size bay.

Thanks JL for the reply, I've been looking into prodigy's but they get scooped up super quick  . Hopefully school will be forgiving and I'll be able to afford a full quiver of OR kites for next season 8)

Alternative riding spots

Hey all, Just curious whether anyone has any experience riding either Witty's Lagoon, Sooke Basin or the Esquimalt Lagoon?? (wind direction allowing and all) Sooke Basin seems decent if you're proficient at self-launching/wet launching nice open bay with minimal traffic, not a ton of tidal action ...
