2 Free Zero-Gravity Chairs
I thought I'd post them on here to see if anyone wants them before I put them on used Victoria.
They are in good condition. I red and 1 blue. We just don't use them anymore.

Re: Nitinaht Wifi
Correct, the wifi works at the Yurt or the Store. They say they are working on getting it fixed in the campground. That was a week ago, still not working when I left today (Sat 27th). When I arrived on Friday, may 19th it worked until Saturday morning then stopped working. It's a nice 20 min walk up...

Re: Early Nitinat sessions
Hey Mick, Nitinaht camp not open yet but China Creek is open. It's not as dependable as Nitinaht in the shoulder season but definite chance of wind there this weekend. Road is being upgraded and it was only a 7-8 minute drive on gravel and the road has always been pretty good so hoping better now wi...

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
H-Rock Dood, I think you're sweet, hot-pink GPS tracker isn't working properly..... you are ripping out there but by looking at your tracks it says you are slug-slow and kind of 'drunk driver' ish, all over the place. just kidding. I am always 'smilier' with you out on the water with me. Keep ...

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
Hey AJ, just the regular (non-pay also known as free) Strava account works and is what I use. When I download my Polar watch info to my phone (by pressing 1 button) it automatically uploads to Strava. I then Submit my GPX track to the BWD site. It takes about 5 mins from start to finish.

Re: Wing Gloves - Winter
I glove up at about 7 degrees and the palmless work well for me although I'm harnessed in usually and can drop an arm and give it a shake often if fingers are getting cold. I use the full mitt (NRS mitts in the picture) when it gets to 1-2 degrees and they work really well. I used them yesterday for...

Re: Flat water foiling spots
I like the Saanichton Bay in the lee of Cordova spit on a SE idea, that sounds like a good one. Possibly launch at Bazan Bay and sail upwind then if any issues, blown back to where you started. I'll have to check out the Pat Bay on the E/SE although I do hesitate to go there because it's the farthes...

Flat water foiling spots
I'm looking for flat water spots on the island to do some speed foiling. 1. What sites do you know that might work.....? - I know of Cattle Point/Willows, Sidney Spit, Esq. Lagoon, China Creek and Nitinat (when it flattens out) - What is the depth of water on the inside of Comox spit at high tide? I...

Re: Who's riding out at Pat Bay in Sidney? I'm wondering on wing size for the summer?
I agree with GMAC that the 6.0m being as big as you need to go, as once you're past the 6.0m size (for myself Windfoiling) and from what I've seen Wingfoiling if you go larger it's not getting you foiling in much less wind...maybe 1-2 knots...maybe?? I think it's more about pumping technique for the...

Foiling Spinout
My last 2 sessions I’ve experienced foil spin out. Feels very similar to fin spinout. I’ve googled it but nothing too helpful. When it happens I usually sheet out and it stops although at the end of my last session it was happening when I turned downwind starting my gybe. I’m thinking one of the foi...

Re: Windsurf Foiling Discussion
Question #1 Is the notion of a moderate aspect front foil coming in at 1500cm2 still best advice, or can the surface area and/or aspect ratio be hedged toward a somewhat more challenging learning curve ( that would be okay by me ) with the intent to use it for a longer period of time as my skills, I...
