later
I think this was quite a bit later. There was a couple of guys, one in a wetsuit one not and a girl I *think*. They were deflating a yellow kite at about 6-6:30 pm....
It's a nice harness but much too fancy for a pole skipper.

I think TheLaw really crossed the line in this discussion. Obviously he hasn't seen this:

Dale Cook/Bruce Peterson in the gorge
Here are a couple o' vids I shot after being blown off the water on my 4.7 and I'm sure they were on bigger sails. It's hard to see in the vids but they are the fastest guys on the water by far. Gorge
We're heading down late Thursday night. Hopefully the weather is good for windfest http://www.gorgewindfest.com/gwf_schedule.html. Plan on being there for most of next week.
Kus maybe we can hook up for a session/beer, I'll check BWD when I get down there.

UK sails
It's UK sails http://www.ukhalsey.ca/ I had my old 8.0 Retro repaired there where a batten busted through the mast sleeve, it think it was around $40? Unfortunately the next time I took it out at IV a wave crashed though the main panel while I was messing with the downhaul. Won't do that again.... M...

fins
I too am looking for a largeish fin around 38cm. Techtonics Maui http://www.tectonicsmaui.com was recommended to me bya reputable source. Sailworks carries these fins as well.. I am looking at the 38cm Goldwing for my Carve121. They aren't cheap so I will have to return some more empties before I ca...

HD foam
Preventative. So far I have been lucky. I tried a body drag yesterday and I could feel the nose smacking potential before I almost pulled my groin. I found the deviator too annoying when positioning the sail for water starts and also I like to have the mast almost at the front of the track to keep m...
