T-shirts idea cool, but hey, how bout timed trials between kiters and Windsurfers at different wind strengths, hard to plan I know, but curious to see how it works out. I must say, I am enlightened to see the "healthy" responses from the "crowd". Iit seems to me this summer is setting up to be one epic weekend after another with good friends and great events!

T-shirts....

Post by Bobson »

Hey All, I'm getting some T-shirts made up for this summers sailing up at Nitinat lake and I would like everyone's suggestion as to what it should say on the shirts(if anything). Something catchy that both poleskippers and kiter-dude(tte)'s will appreciate. There will be a small pic of kites and windsurfers on the front and a larger picture on the back.

Please reply with any suggestions for sayings....??
The more the better. I will give a prize for the best saying if I use it.

Here are a few to get you started...??
Feel the Heat - Summer 2005
Sailing with Friends - Ditidaht '05
Come Fly with Us - Nitinat 2005
Wind Junkies of Nitinat
Wishing 4 Wind
I Love Wind
Rig Big, Sail Fast

I"ll post more info(prices and amounts) in a few days when I have the rest of the info sorted out. Also if anyone has an 'IN' with a T-shirt printing shop, please let me know. Right now I'm thinking of getting 100 made up but that will go up or down with the amount of replies and interest I hear.

Thanks muchly!! :D :D

well as i understand it, the rising thermal cells on a warm day create a zone of low pressure inland that draws in the cool air from the coast, especially when theres fog so Nitinat actually sucks.

T-Shirt vs. Sweatshirt

Post by Bobson »

The only problem with Sweatshirts is more cash needed upfront as they cost more. I would people to pay upfront before they came and I'm not sure how many would pay before getting them.

The deal with t-shirt is they are cheaper....maybe I'll go long sleeve shirts as they aren't that much more.

Hey Bobson......count me in on some summer fun too. I'd love to get in on some racing.
I'm in for shirts as well, long short or inbetween. I've heard that Mega Screen Productions on David St. is good. I know a few people who have used them and they were happy with the results - good quality, reasonably priced. Hope this helps.
