Anyone kiting today (Nov 11)?

Post by findmewind »

Hello,

I am new to Victoria (I've only been here 8 weeks, but am not new to kiting) but I am definitely new to reading the forecasts out here. I was wondering if anyone is planning on kiting today and if so, where and would you like to meet up? I really enjoy sharing the stoke and can't wait to meet some new kite friends! Hope to see you out on the water!

Welcome. How small is your smallest kite? Island view the best bet this am, although agate beach can be good but little parking and kite launch not good. I expect many will head west this afternoon. I'll be windsurfing but happy to launch or land kites.

Thank you More Force 4 for the great advice and Skywalker for the not so good advice. Thank goodness I didn't listen to you :) Hopefully see everyone on the beach again soon!
