Rigged the 10m Ultra and foil and headed out, wind was light at the launch point, but once out on the water, it was pretty good. Still dialing in the kite as it is pretty grunty, but allowed me to keep foiling through the lulls. A fun chilled out sunset session.

Low end testing. Played upwind with Tweezer until it really lulled and just made it in. Pretty incredible how the downwind board allows a 1080 to work well with a 5m in 10 knots. Took the 1675 out for a run when it went to 6 knots and tanked. Weird, cold fun.

Best part of today was there was a Grey Whale in Ross Bay. Not sure what he was doing but he was blowing quite often and stayed just on the inside of the point from what I saw. It was pretty cool, Wing-schlogging and hearing a big whale-blow behind me. YIKES!!! Persistence or NutBar, just give up it's not going to happen. First time I've ever passed Bobson foiling. Enough said!.... kidding, good light wind session and great seeing Bobson make it work with a windfoil board.
I love the Dw board for getting up in the low wind but am definitely struggling with foot switches and the board length in the jibes. Just need some more time to dial it in.

Spent the first hour on the 999 which felt twichy as the waves were a little lumpy. Came in for 890 and 3M and everything smoothed out . the further Danno and I went out the better the waves got longest rides ever kept turning and another wave would appear beside me some great turns awesome day.

Sounding like a broken record - another fabulous hour-long session a club RB. This time with Greg, Matt, and DocMark. Wind was so good, I was lifting 20m off the beach! More mellow swells right in the bay, perfect training wheels for for a flagged-out newb like me. Got lucky a few times and starting to get a better swell feel. Greg was further out where the swells were bigger. Oddly my Garmin quit early. It may not be Piper's, but it is definitely RB sweetness!

Wow! More wind than expected, glad I rigged small! Launch at 1045 after walking upwind until I felt the wind fill-in, a little down from the old kite launch. Waded out in waves and swell until it was deep enough. Up to Acadia in 1/2 hr and a few wings out. Fully powered and loving the new wings. Since using them I've stopped falling in. Just so light in my hands! Felt comfortable from the first reach. One of my best sessions. More suspects showed up in the afternoon.

4th Wing session. Arrived to H-Rock leaving, not a good sign. Both he and Greg-Can were saying it's dropping. Not good. It was 12-15kts and Marky-Mark went out and was on the foil right away. Greg-Can and I headed out and he foiled right away and it took me a couple mins to catch a gust to get going. For the first hour it was good, 12-15kts I'm guessing. Almost a month off the water. W 20-25 on 8m+surfboard with full depower at Spanish Banks. Typical chop almost everywhere except smooth waist high waves outside by the freighters and at Dog Beach. Very few kiters out (Sean on 7m+surfboard and another kite foiler). Spotted 3 wingers out. Good way to end the week with a relatively warm session to scratch my wind itch.

Way too nautical out in the straight ( i find that short period, steep swell quite challenging), but was strong enough i could play inside- had the whole big fishbowl to myself!
Strangely though, i found my hands getting colder than in February- luckily the lack of surf made the pitstop to change gloves and dunk in hot water less of an issue.

Left work early and got to the beach before the crowds for a change. Mostly flat water with chop running down a line from Clover. Wind had a lot of NW in it, you could get to Clover in one reach. Biggish holes at first, filled in more towards the end and threatened to blow hard. Looked black and squally when I left. Not the wind I expected. Launched from home and went to Clover point, lit, slid around back and the wind died hard.
Took a while to flail-slog my way into shore, amazingly the kite didn't drop in the water. Luck? I guess so..
A few kiters fared worse, I hope no one spent the night on trial island.

What a bizarre but amazingly fun combo of wind direction and waves! Heading upwind on stbd straight to the tip of CP with increasingly larger waves coming at you from your port bow! It was an odd way to see the waves coming but totally rideable and great for getting up-swell quickly! You could really head high as you pumped down the backs of each wave. Lots of gear changes and it was super fun during the peak wind and swell. It looked like it was going to nuke but instead it died after the rain came. Warm. Counted 47 wings and 21 kites but I wasn't wearing my glasses.

Started out very light but wanted to get out on the 999 , I saw Bobson flying on his 1000cm so thought it would work but lots of lulls and some schlogging waiting for gusts. Then wind and waves ramped up and up until way overpowered on 6M but was running out of time and too lazy to go in for the 4M so made it work. Flagged out rides wing was getting blown everywhere, love the glide of 999.

Should've come down earlier but managed to hit it while it ramped up.. the 10m was juiced to start but it didn't last long.. couple decent jumps then a slash or two.. but it dropped like a rock! Eventually walked in on the south of the point up a ditch and the bank.. landed and said to some kook... don't think you should go out on your 8m! Then they went anyways!!

Another fabulous hour-long session. Ross Bay has been gifting me with prime conditions every time I jump in these days. Well powered even right in the bay. Great to share the swells with Bobson on wing. I kept trying to capture him on GoPro, but my board handling isn't awesome. Danno and DocMark were playing well beyond the point where the bigger swells were forming. I got lots of flagged out practice near the point where the swell was milder.
