Very nice day at the lake. It was warm and the wind was soft near the shore but my 14.5 Flite and Tiki board were perfect for the wind on offer. It was quite flat and the water was warm, Tiki conditions indeed. I spent an hour and a half on the Tiki just cruising and trying my tack turns, it was sunny and beautiful. First time hittin the goon. Showed up at 7 and rigged 6.2 on the 120, unsure about this windshadow, but quickly went to the 115 once I was confident enough that it wasn't as much of a problem as i thought it would be. Some real swell out there! Had to take off for work around the time the wind really picked up or I could have been there all day. Stellar spot!

Road trip to Pipers!!! Arrived to a full parking lot and many wingers! Summer (4:3) suit on, sunscreen applied and pumped up the 4.0. First session there was a fair amount of eel grass, second session it had mostly disappeared. Fun times and worth the drive!

Well, what a change from yesterday. Today was the best Winging day I can remember. 2.5 hours, 50kms, fell in the water only twice. Water is still warm so it was kind of nice. 2 or 3 Wings, 5 kites, 1 Windfoiler and Me! Today I picked the right sized Wing and the wind was steady and water flat. Well that sucked hard! Worst Wing day I can remember. Just felt underpowered then overpowered, could not make my gybes. Felt like a Noob! >>dislike<<!! Went out on my 5.0m KT with a new to me G800 front foil as I thought it would pick up with serious fog bank but stayed at that 10-12kts for 90 mins of downtown schlogville. Came in and changed back to the PTM926 and grabbed the 6.0m. Well, I got on foil but it didn't feel good. Just an off day I guess. Maybe not enough Coronas yesterday.? Well, ... (more)

Good long day on the water, came in just before noon and took a couple hours to build to the high 20's. Good swell for Nitinaht, the 940 has so much more glide and really made staying the small sets easy. Practiced some more tacks with the 3m and got a few. Sundowner on the beach with the RB crowd to finish off the day before dinner and an early bed time!

Unfortunately had a kiter do a no-look boost and land within feet which kinda soured the day.
Solid gybes though considering how little I've been able to fin lately.

Experimented with different fuse lengths today. The advance fuse is my favourite for turniness. Then the wind picked up and we got some fun swell. 3M weather - hoping for more of the same tomorrow. Fog bank built in the afternoon and it cranked pretty good!
