Penguin, A trip to Nimpkish is always a good one even if the wind doesn't blow. Like the Penguin, make sure you bring a steamer as the water is pretty icy cold early in the season. Make sure that a solid high pressure has set in. The jet stream needs to be north of the Island. When they are calling ...

waveboarden

Jan, I've sailed a few times at Long Beach, it can be apic. I have only sailed at South Chesterman's and Comber's Beach. Comber's is a bit more exposed and will probably have bigger waves. S. Chesterman's can get a bit of a Venturi effect from the island out front, so if the wind is light everywhere...

It is a long drive, but if the high pressure is in, there is nothing more magical than a solo session on Tatlyoko Lk. As well, there is good hiking-gateway to Potatoe Range and Homathako Icefield/Coast Range, amazing fly fishing in nearby lakes and good honeymooning. Since you own an 8.0 and Go boar...

columbia cam

Thanks boys. Great camera angle. Wider angle might be better, but do we really want to see Paul and Ozzy shredding just upwind or downwind from the current setting? I think it is great as is. Dunkingirl is going to have to set some groundrules around me viewing the Columbia archive.

surfer rage

I am sure glad the windsurf/kiter community doesn't have to deal with crap like this. I got my first taste of this territorial nonsense this weekend at Jordan River. I was having a great windsurfing day on my 5.2 getting some nice rides and was just generally stoked to finally hit JR after countless...
