Cool contraption DWD. I have a similar looking beast that slips over the forced air heating duct in the house and does 2 pairs at a time. If you are vigilant doing this with new booties they wont start to stink, but if you forget a couple times the stink factor in the house will be on the rise. Sail...

I concur with the other "Fish". Barbara and I sail about 0.7 apart and share our quiver - as we are minimalists a 4.0, 4.7, 5.4 pretty much covers most Island days for us, but we'll drag along a 3.5 if it's nukin and a 7.0 and big board if it is light.

heeey!, your welcome to move out west to covet our sailing spots, but assuming my name may be cause for confusion! :). Then again, maybe if someone compliments your sailing, it might reflect favourably on me...people might get the idea that I'm a decent sailor!

Geez, I'm shocked. I can still remember the day I met John, as I think we all can...his total stoke about gettign on the water is unforgettable and just inspires you to give-er. John is synonymous with high wind adventure, and his larger than life presence at Cook street or wherever it is windy, wil...

I've tried out the sightmax contacts that I got from eyeDuck (Thanks Stephan - dropped by your storefront to report back a couple times but you wern't in) - they're pretty neat, they feel like you are wearing sunglasses, without the hassle of getting salt spray on lenses, cords to keep them on etc, ...

Euros are all about windsurfing. I dont think you'll have any trouble finding a windsurfing shop to rent stuff from if there is a remote chance there is wind and water nearby. Can't really speak for the rest of Europe, but I've managed to rent gear and sail on a number of puddles across Germany. The...

Had a few agressive barking experiences when inadvertently sharing a wave with one of them. I figure hitting a 900kg blob of flesh at 30+ kmh is probably going feel aboout the same as ridign my bike into the back of a parked car, except the car proabably wouldnt be as likely to get pissed off and bi...

I think the occasional negative vibes are just a blemish on the overall greatness of the page and all Dave's work. So Voostra is suggesting someone grow potential pathogenic organisms at home. Good idea. I hear Bin-Ladin's looking for the same kind of folks.

A better idea would be to look in the yellow pages under Laboratories - Analytical

Thanks Ross. This will certainly be interesting to folks if it can get up and running. Fecal coliform is certainly an easy test do have done. You may also wish to look into enterococci as an alternate. Some folks think this is a more accurate indicator of seweage pollution in marine environements. M...
