windsurf boards and circular saws.

Post by jim mckenzie »

Has anyone taken a circular saw to a carbon wrap board? I can't decide if it's going to cut nicely or shatter into a mess.

I've used a fatmax handsaw and and circular saw. Both worked quite well but one was louder.
Don't forget to bring a towel!

Thanks Kus and Nanmoo. Looks good. We had so much fun tow foiling I'm going to make a surf-tow board out of an old Roberts slalom for days when it's not windy.

I've done that with two SUP's that had to be cut in half for warranty. Enjoy!
