Pretty much what everyone else said. Had some unreal rides for about 45 minutes on the 4.2. Not too much jumping for me. This is the area for me that slips away from the lack of sailing time. Hopefully it comes back...feel like a bit of pussy out there compared to the others :D

My new favourite board and sail. Absolutely rippín'from the beach to Trial Island. First time on this new board and sail and it was like it was old gear I'd sailed forever. This board rocks!! Best board I've sailed EVER!!! Perfect size for me at 220lbs. I had the sail a little flat but near the end it was perfect as it picked up to around 20kts. So nice and warm and windy....Loving life tonight. I still have one of those SH$$ eating grins on my face. Can't wait to get out again this weekend!! ... (more)

:D That was one of the top 3 days I've had at Gordon's imo, just because of the hour and a half of damn nice waves and rippin' wind. Started out flat and choppy but very windy farther out, then gradually moved in and all of a sudden we had these great waves that were smooth and steep. Everyone had a blast slashing and jumping but later on the wind dropped a bit and it was back to chop again.
The vibe on the beach was great with a lot of socializing and beer and snacks - thanks Jellyfish and BA. :D

If not the best session at G-spot for me ever, then very close. Great to sail with the up-Island gang. The ramps were UNBELIEVABLE for about an hour and a half. Some of them over head and glassy (no really). Tried a pushloop on one of the the biggest, steepest ramps I saw all day and bailed just before hitting the water. Wild sensation! Scored a sweet parking spot behind nanmoo. Rigged and caught the handy dart to the beach. First 45 mins was as good as I can remember g-spot in a while, then fizzled. Should have got there earlier to extend the sesh. Nice to see a good turnout today.

Don't leave wind to find wind...especially if the other wind costs $160 return in ferry costs. Checked the forecast and knew Harrison would be good so decided to sail here this weekend. Started on big stuff pulled flat and then it cranked up. Got the 104L Naish wet and was OP'd on 5.8 SuperFreak and the Naish. Good combo but scary windy on the far side of the lake. A few mini-ramps. Lots of sailors out today. I bet Bear Creek down the lake would have been 4.7.

OMG what a day, soooo warm, bail in the water and the rashy would be dry in five minutes of sailing...crazy. Started unhooking today doing raileys with the 16..some interesting moments but super stoked to finally start. Tried out a couple of strapless boards that Mark and Marie shared, a skim board and a short Air Rush surfy type of board, major fun, but boy do I suck at switching stances on the board.

Best day of the three. The wind was up early at about 10am but didn't fill in for a long time. Went out at noon and SCHLOGGED for about a 1/2 hour. Uphauled a few times and pumped myself through the bubbles. Then it kicked in and stayed through the day until late. Was very solid 6.0 at 5pm. Nice to sail with old friends. A lot of heavy machinery working in the campground laying new campsites. There are going to be some BIG changes this year.

8) The wind was a bit light for the 8m on the first launch and dropped further shortly after. Thanks for retrieving my board Ryan...glad you enjoyed the demo.
Wind picked up again for another try with much more success. Still feel wonky on port tack...but good on starboard...maybe because I wakeboard goofy footed'
Next time I'll launch from way upwind so I get more tacks in before I run out of beach and wind.

First after work session (yesterday worked 5am to 10pm with an hour or so off for dinner and some web). :lol: :lol: Light wind sesh, a steady 15 knots had dropped by 7PM when I got out. People on one of our crew boats got some pics, I'll try and post. Warm, no hood or gloves today! One layer of fleece was plenty, wish I'd brought a wet suit!

not a bad day, the haze took about 5 kts off i think. it cleared and picked up around 430 as i was packing up (typical!) not quite enough juice to go in the 5.3 so i rigged bigger. sailed up to knob point for a pee break then a smokin downwinder. got a few more helis, 360s ect. jeff sutherland gave me some secret spock tips for the next time. The new T3 harness is great, it fits like a plank of plywood but no sore back for once after 2 long days on the water. :D

Waited until company finally left at 4:00 pm (couldn't they see the wind in the trees?). Drove out to the lake (30 km from my house in the ' Wack), rigged and on the water and planing by 5:00 pm for just over an hour of big gear in the cool, clear Harrison water.

Reasonable wind day, some really weird wave action infront of the beach, almost like a current fighting it out with the wind ... weird but fun. Feet tore up from damn barnicles yesterday....booties from now on for me :evil:

Got there to a building wind at 11:30. After the usual greetings all around it looked 4.6able for me so I rigged and then chatted some more. Should have got on the water right a way as the best wind didn't last too long. So, rigged the 5.4 and went out and had a good session. Nice that not too many people go to the lake anymore. Definately more fun when it's not crowded, although it was nice to share the stoke with a few regulars. :D :D :shock: :D :D

was briefly on the 4.7 then it settled in to nice 5.3 all afternoon. nanmoo out there givin er on his first dip in the lake. got a couple upwind 360s and tried some spoks. Take note bare-footers, there are a lot of barnacles just off the beach this year for some reason. had a great campout with starboard steve and leechai.
