Re: ISO source of M6 Torx screws

Let me know if you find something, I'd split shipping with you if online is the only option.

Thanks, I walked as much of those bays as I could with the time I had. Now that it has switched to a strong SE it's probably on its way to Hornby.

Lost: OR Mako @ San Pareil , Nov 7th 2020

Lost my red OR Mako Saturday at about 4:30 pm. Lost track of it in the white wash, not more than 100m from shore and it was gone.

Thanks

Localism

I though this discussion needed to moved to the forum as it's not the first time this type of discussion has come up before. I'm sorry "locals" do not get priority. Let's imagine they did, does everyone need to start wearing colored coded jerseys so we know who is more "local" th...

Sorry I mixed it up. Switching the lines will cause the rear lines to be slack. So you will probably have to make some adjustments on your pigtails.

It should be ok. Just watch out the kite might be really oversheeted after you switch the lines. The strength on all the lines should be the same.

Hey Stammy,

Thanks for the review.

Curious what wind strength you took it out in? Could you explain what you mean by it not being a beginner kite? Any comments about jumping it?

My only concern about the Hellfish is how the Cuben fiber material will hold up.

Oops. Forgot to login.

Another thing. If this material is as durable as described I assume there must be other manufacturers (Dupont, 3M, etc) with the ability to produce similar materials. And as production ramps up on these materials hopefully the price will come down to a more resonable level.

I think the fact that a new material may be availiable that will improve kite performance is great. The fact that the material has "zero stretch" is phenominal. Looking forward to testing this kite & if it provides "50%" better performance then Best will sell lots of kites. I...

This is the best comment I've seen regarding the Hellfish. "Our approach is to improve the geometry of the kite along technically sound paths to increase the performance, range and safety. At the same time we investigate materials. There are a vast variety of available materials in the yachting...
