It's also useful if you decide to go to, say La Ventana, you might be interested to know what some people might be sailing or kiting on or how many days people get on the water. That's the stuff I want to know before I go somewhere. Enough said!

I know I certainly check the thing a lot! Mostly for sailing but even if I want to see if it's a good day for a back yard fire! Please don't take it away!

Good idea Dave! Maybe when the winning pics have been selected a mandatory photo shoot as per your suggestion. Along with the main photo of whoever is sailing would be a smaller inset picture of the person posing and such with the gear used in the main photo.

San Pareil by far the best spot to fly a trainer if the tide is out far enough for there to be some sand. As for tomorrow there will be some sand showing in the morning for a couple of hours. Wind will be lightest then too maybe! Also a good place to get a break from the wind because usually there i...

You'll be fine Tony just go there and get a site! I've found in the last couple of windfests there is usually room for everyone! If it is already crowded for some reason, people will make room for you. I'll be there on Sun/Tues.

Windsurfing shops in Nanaimo

No shops in Nanaimo that I know of. Collin at Island Longboards might be able to help if you want to order something through his shop. Online shopping works well too. Check the links on BWD home page.

Cabo San Lucas to La Ventana

I'm not sure but I think you can pick up a rental car at the airport then just drop it there when you leave. Others could confirm please. That's your best case scenario. If you are down there for a short time, this gives you the freedom to check out a lot of places without depending on others.
